Synthetic hair extensions are made from synthetic fibers and can look artificial. Human hair extensions, on the other hand, are made from 100% real human hair and blend seamlessly with your natural hair.

Yes, we are committed to ethical sourcing practices and only use hair that has been voluntarily donated or sold. We work directly with our suppliers to ensure fair compensation and ethical treatment of all donors.

What is Ethically Sourced?

Ethically sourced hair extensions refer to hair products that are obtained in a manner that respects the rights and well-being of the individuals involved in the hair harvesting process, typically sourced from donors who willingly provide their hair or from ethical and sustainable sources.

Here are some key aspects of ethically sourced hair extensions:

  • Donor Consent: Ethically sourced hair extensions are obtained with the consent of the donors. Donors willingly provide their hair without coercion or exploitation.
  • Fair Compensation: Donors are fairly compensated for their hair. This compensation ensures that the donors are adequately rewarded for their contribution and that they are not taken advantage of.
  • Safe and Hygienic Collection Process: The hair collection process is conducted in a safe and hygienic manner to ensure the well-being of the donors. This includes using clean tools and following proper sanitation protocols.
  • Traceability and Transparency: Ethical suppliers often provide transparency about the sourcing of their hair extensions, including information about where the hair comes from and how it is collected. This helps customers make informed choices and ensures accountability in the supply chain.
  • Support for Communities: Some ethically sourced hair extensions may also support communities where the hair is sourced by investing in local infrastructure, education, or healthcare initiatives.
  • Environmental Sustainability: There is also a growing emphasis on environmental sustainability in the sourcing of hair extensions, which may include practices such as using eco-friendly packaging or supporting initiatives for reforestation or carbon offsetting.

Overall, ethically sourced hair extensions prioritize the well-being of both the donors and the environment, ensuring that the process is fair, transparent, and sustainable

Absolutely! You can style your extensions just like you would your natural hair. Whether you prefer sleek straight looks, bouncy curls, or intricate updos, your extensions can handle it all. However, it's advisable to take some precautions to ensure the longevity of your extensions. Using heat protectant products before applying heat styling tools can help shield the hair from damage and prolong its life. Additionally, avoid excessive heat exposure and high temperatures, as this can cause the extensions to become dry, brittle, or even melt. With proper care and attention, you can enjoy styling your hair extensions to your heart's content while keeping them looking fabulous for as long as possible.

During your consultation with your extension professional (Me), we'll work closely with you to determine the perfect type of extensions for your unique needs and preferences.

We'll take into account various factors such as your hair type, texture, and color, as well as your lifestyle and desired look. Whether you're seeking added length, volume, or both, we'll guide you through the different options available, including tape-ins, clip-ins, sew-ins, or fusion extensions.

By considering all these factors together, we can ensure that you leave with extensions that seamlessly blend with your natural hair and enhance your overall appearance.

Yes, you can swim and exercise with your extensions, but it's essential to take some precautions to maintain their quality and longevity.

Before diving into the pool or hitting the gym, consider tying your hair up to prevent tangling or matting, especially if you have longer extensions.

Additionally, rinsing your hair thoroughly with clean water immediately after swimming or sweating can help remove any chlorine, salt, or sweat residue that could potentially damage the extensions.

Afterward, gently pat your hair dry with a towel and avoid rubbing vigorously, as this can cause friction and lead to tangling.

By following these simple steps, you can enjoy your favorite activities while keeping your extensions looking beautiful and healthy.

Our primary aim is to ensure that your extensions blend flawlessly with your natural hair, resulting in a seamless and natural look.

Through meticulous application techniques and color matching, we strive to make the extensions virtually undetectable.

Whether you opt for tape-ins, clip-ins, sew-ins, or fusion extensions, our skilled stylists work to create a harmonious integration between your natural hair and the extensions.

The end result is a fuller, more voluminous hairstyle that looks entirely natural, leaving others admiring your beautiful locks without ever suspecting the presence of extensions.

When applied and maintained correctly, hair extensions should not cause damage to your natural hair. It's essential to emphasize proper application techniques, which involve ensuring that the extensions are not attached too tightly or too close to the scalp, as this can put undue stress on your natural hair follicles.

Moreover, regular maintenance sessions are vital for the health of your hair. These sessions allow our skilled stylists to assess the condition of both your natural hair and the extensions, making any necessary adjustments to prevent tangling or matting. Additionally, maintenance appointments provide an opportunity to reposition or remove extensions safely, ensuring that they continue to blend seamlessly with your natural hair as it grows.

Following our care guidelines is equally important in preserving the integrity of your hair. This includes using gentle, sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated for hair extensions, avoiding excessive heat styling, and being mindful of how you brush and style your hair to prevent unnecessary tension or breakage.

By adhering to these best practices and entrusting your hair to our experienced professionals, you can enjoy the benefits of hair extensions without compromising the health of your natural hair. Our goal is to help you achieve the look you desire while maintaining the strength and vitality of your hair for the long term.

Fusion Questions

Plan to spend the day with us. An installation takes 1.5 to 6 hours, depending on what your plan includes: removal of old extensions, color, the install itself, then a cut and style that blends everything together. Every strand is placed by hand, and we don't rush that. Snacks, drinks and lunch are on us.

How to prepare

  • Keep the day open. Don't book anything around your appointment. A clear schedule lets us take the time the work needs.
  • Come as you are. We wash and clarify your hair at the start of your appointment. Clarifying removes oil and product buildup so every bond grips clean hair and holds.
  • Come comfortable. You'll be in the chair for a while. Wear something easy, and bring a change of clothes if you have plans after.
  • Bring something to do. Headphones, an audiobook, a podcast, or just conversation. We're happy with any of the three.
  • Don't worry about food. We provide snacks, drinks and lunch. Let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when you book.
  • Expect photos. We take before and after photos for your record. We share them on social media only with your permission.

A fusion install lasts 3 to 6 months. Where you land in that range depends mostly on how fast your hair grows and how you care for it at home.

Brushing and washing make the biggest difference. Brushing daily with an extension-safe brush, holding the hair near the bonds, keeps strands from tangling at the root. Washing the right way, with the right products, keeps the bonds clean and secure. When the install reaches the end of its wear, we remove the bonds and re-install.

Our packages cover 1 to 4 installs, from 4 to 16 months of wear, with maintenance, color, removal and aftercare products included.

Not when they're installed, maintained and removed properly. Damage from fusion almost always traces back to one of those three steps being done wrong, not to the method itself.

At installation, we wash and clarify your hair so every bond grips clean hair, and we size each bond to the section it sits on, so no strand carries more weight than your hair can hold. During wear, your move-ups keep bonds from growing out too far and pulling at the root. At removal, the keratin bond is released, not pulled out, and we take the time that step needs.

Because we install, color, cut and remove in the same studio, one team is responsible for your hair from the first bond to the last. If you've had a bad experience before, bring it to your consultation. It tells us exactly what to protect.

Cold fusion sets the keratin bond with an ultrasonic tool and no heat, which is gentler on delicate hair. Thermal fusion uses a heat tool and keratin adhesive for a stronger, more durable bond.

Yes. Keep hot tools below the bonds and use the lowest effective heat. Color is done in-studio so the extensions and your own hair stay matched.

Wait 48 hours after your install. Wash with your fingertips in a downward motion, condition mid-lengths to ends only, and never sleep with wet hair.

Every fusion install is priced for the person in the chair, so we quote it in person after we've seen your hair rather than publish a number that may not fit you.

Fusion takes more time and skill than any other method we offer, because every strand is placed and bonded to your own hair by hand. Two clients can ask for the same look and need very different installs. A fine-haired client may need more strands spread over more of her head to carry the weight safely. A client with thick hair may need fewer strands, but longer ones, to blend through her ends.

Your price depends on three things: how much hair you need, the length you want, and the color work it takes to blend. At your consultation we look at your density, your scalp and your current color, talk through the result you want, and set all three. The quote you leave with is the real cost for your hair, with no surprises at the install. It also covers what comes after: maintenance, any color or cutting to keep the blend right, and removal when it's time.

The hair can last up to a year with scheduled move-ups and proper care. The install itself needs a move-up every 6-8 weeks as your hair grows.

"Hand-tied" describes how a weft is made, not how it is installed. We install wefts on beaded rows and with IBE, and we use Genius wefts, which are lightweight, durable and have no return hair.

The most current way wefts are made. They are lightweight and durable, and they have no return hair, the short folded-over hairs at the top of machine and hand-tied wefts that can cause itchiness.

Both attach the weft to a row of small beads. IBE uses a specific layered method that hides the beads, so the attachment stays invisible even with your hair up.

Yes. When part of a weft application is thinner than the rest, we add individual K-tip fusion strands in that spot so the fullness is even. Both are maintained in the same studio.

No, not when they're installed and maintained properly. The damage we see comes from three places: incorrect or non-professional installs, improper care at home, and DIY removal. We size each row to what your hair can carry and teach you the care before you leave.

Yes. Some rows can be adjusted and re-secured, and others need to come out and be re-installed. The consultation decides which. Removing or adjusting another salon's wefts starts at $150 per hour

The usual causes are an overdue move-up, a row left damp after washing, or never brushing at the base. Leave the rows in and book a consultation rather than cutting them out.

Your price depends on three things: how much hair you need, the length you want, and the color work it takes to blend. We set all three at your consultation, so the number you get is a real quote for your hair, including what maintenance will cost, not an estimate.

Most clients choose the 12-month weft plan, which covers the hair and 9 move-ups plus color, removal and product. Current prices are on the services page. The $50 consultation is credited toward your extensions.
